Australia''s leading provider of outsourced correctional servicesExciting Collaborative roleFull time role with ongoing potentialA salary of $86,886 per annum, plus superAbout the OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Return to Work and Wellbeing Coordinator who is seeking a new challenge.Reporting to the Occupational Health Safety & Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that Fulham Correctional Centre meets their return-to-work obligations under the Victorian Workers Compensation Legislation, acting as the point of contact for injured workers and supporting them throughout their recovery. Additionally, this role will be pivotal in improving employee wellbeing while working with the Human Resources Manager to implement wellbeing initiatives at Fulham Correctional Centre.This role is also responsible for ensuring the effective financial management of worker''s compensation claims, for educating employees and for the management of non-work-related injuries.You will be responsible to:Assist and support injured workers to remain at or return to work while they recover from a work-related injuryConsult with the injured workers, their manager/ supervisor, treating health practitioner, occupational rehabilitation provider, WorkSafe Agent or worker''s representative (if they have one) and any other relevant internal or external stakeholders as requiredDevelop and deliver on strategies to drive mutually beneficial outcomes on claimsLiaise with internal managers and supervisors educating and coaching them on their return-to-work obligationsTake steps to prevent recurrences of injuries by managing employees in compliance with their return-to-work plansAct as a point of contact for the WorkSafe return to work inspectorHelp to resolve any issues or disputes related to return to workComplete reporting and case file managementAssist with proactive wellbeing initiativesWith consultation develop a wellbeing activity calendar for the CentreManage the financial status of all workers'' compensation claims at the CentreFacilitate and manage the workers'' compensation wage reimbursement cycle process, ensuring that reimbursements are completed and processed within the required timeframesAssist the Occupational Health Safety and Rehabilitation Specialist (OHS&R) in the management of workplace OHS&R and act as a backup for the role as directed by the Human Resources Manager.About YouThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Work Health, Safety and Rehabilitation professional to take the next step up in their career and deliver effective health and safety and injury and wellbeing management related activities for a large workforce.
