About The OpportunityWe are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our Erskine Park site. The Shift Maintenance Electrician will work closely with maintenance fitters and operators to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner, enabling the achievement of operational outcomes for the site. As a strong team player, the Maintenance Electrician will be willing and able to assist operationally, outside the areas of core responsibilities, and in doing so make a solid contribution to building a high-performing maintenance team culture.The Shift Pattern Available IsDay Shift working Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pmKey Responsibilities IncludeCarry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facilityHigh level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programsParticipate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipmentDemonstrate and promote safe work practicesAssist with other duties to ensure the effective operation of the maintenance teamIdentifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunitiesWork closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely mannerSuccessful Candidate AttributesElectrical Trade Certificate/License (NSW)Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, prefenreably in FMCG or the Food manufacturing industrySCADA and PLC Knowledge essential (Allan Bradley and Siemems desirable)Processed-based risk assessment skillsExcellent communication skills listening, verbal and writtenDemonstrate an understanding of safety, health and the environmentDiagnostics and fault finding on PLC''s, VSD''s, HMI''s, robotics, instruments and sensorsInstallation of electrcial power, control and automation systemsWhat Can We Offer You?Goodman Fielder is a leading regional food company across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
