Join Hume City Council as a Marketing Placement Student to gain handson experience in youth services marketing and digital engagement.Your RoleHere''s what you will be doing:Support Youth Services to review and refine marketing processes, including branding, communication workflows, and engagement strategies.Evaluate other councils'' social media presence and prepare a report with recommendations to strengthen Hume Youth Services'' digital engagement.Develop shortform video content (e.g., reels) in collaboration with various teams to promote programs, events, and youth initiatives.Create engaging social media posts, flyers, and digital assets aligned with brand and audience needs.Contribute ideas for new marketing campaigns targeting diverse groups of young people in Hume.Capture photos and videos at programs/events to support ongoing content creation.Build skills in communication, teamwork, time management, and problemsolving through practical experience.Participate in team meetings and planning sessions, offering creative input and learning from experienced youth workers.About YouThe company is looking for:Tertiary students undertaking a major or specialisation in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related discipline.Basic knowledge of social media platforms.Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing.How to ApplySubmit a resume detailing your skills, strengths, work experiences, and areas of interest.Provide placement requirements including length, hours, and goals for the work experience.Participate in an informal interview if shortlisted to ensure alignment of placement goals.If offered the placement, provide a signed Student Placement Agreement and education provider''s insurance documentation.Agree to comply with Council''s Employee Code of Conduct during the placement.This job may close before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible #J-18808-Ljbffr
