You''ll install, maintain and support Windows and Unix servers, monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure our systems remain secure, available and up to industry best practice. You''ll contribute to system improvements, continuity planning and major technology projects, playing an important part in shaping the PTA''s IT landscape.About YouTo excel in this role, you should possess:Demonstrated possession of an information technology qualification or considerable recent experience in server support activities, including the design, installation, administration and troubleshooting of server, network, information security, operating system and personal computing technologies.Demonstrated experience supporting Storage Area Networks, backup and recovery solutions, virtualised server environments, and modern hardware and software standards, along with a sound understanding of current data security standards and practices.Welldeveloped conceptual and analytical abilities, including the capacity to interpret technical information, analyse data, and prepare reports. Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet agreed targets and deadlines.
