OverviewDIVERSE LEARNING SUPPORT AIDE SENIOR SCHOOLWe are looking for an experienced, highly adaptable, nurturing, and passionate Senior School Diverse Learning Support Aide to join Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell. This is a permanent full time/part time, term time position.Grace Lutheran College values and celebrates the personal learning pathway of all students of all abilities.The RoleThis position involves supporting students who may have a diagnosed learning disorder, physical or cognitive disability, or social emotional difficulties. Grace follows an inclusive and holistic model when supporting students. Working alongside teaching staff, Diverse Learning Support Aides champion students by providing support strategies to access the curriculum, grow in confidence, and positively engage in everyday school life.It is a mandatory requirement to hold a Certificate III (or higher) in Educational Support and a current paid blue card (Working with Children Check).It would be highly advantageous if applicants hold a certificate or training in learning difficulties or disability.About YouIs your professional experience relevant to supporting senior students through their final years of schooling and in building confidence through their personalised learning pathway?Do you have excellent communication skills that will be effective in supporting students'' learning experiences and engagement?If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!Please respond to key competencies as found in the job description linked below.
