We have an opportunity for a transformative Maintenance Manager to join our based flexibly in Queensland (Fisherman Island, Mackay, Pinkenba, Gladstone) to lead our Country and Ports Maintenance teams.This is a critical role, key responsibilities include:Establish new ways of working and develop a strong Maintenance Leadership teamLead and manage Planning and Scheduling to improve availability and efficiencyLead all safety, health and environment valuesEnsure effectiveness and reliability of fixed and mobile maintenanceCoach and mentor teams and Supervisors to enhance capabilityAssess labour utilisation for effectively addressing maintenance activitiesFoster and maintain relationships with stakeholdersLead a strong Safety culture and change management initiativesAssist in developing and maintaining long-term maintenance strategyMonitor and manage purchasing processes and ensure budget adherenceAlso to note that this role has includes travel across our central QLD and Port sites. The travel can vary; however is usually more frequent during harvest. Normally though you could expect it to be a couple of days every other week or 1 week in 3 approximately.About your experience Ideally our successful candidate has a proven track record as a Maintenance Manager within any industry with preference for those with multi-site experience. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position - HOWEVER we are open to a Supervisor looking for a step up if you are the right candidate. We value aptitude, attitude, values allignment and an ability to understand change and support the process.
