OverviewMy client is within the EV charging space, an exciting area to be in as their is rapid growth expected over the next few years. They are hiring their first in-house Web Developer to take ownership of our customer-facing digital experience, they are growing rapidly and they would love a Developer to come in and treat their website as a core growth engine.This is a front-end, web-focused role, sitting within the marketing team and you will own everything customers see, touch, and interact with online.ResponsibilitiesOwning and improving all customer-facing websites across Webflow, Shopify, and WordPressLeading the transition from WordPress to WebflowBuilding and maintaining interactive tools like calculators, widgets, and conversion-focused componentsDriving technical SEO improvements (site structure, performance, indexing, UX-led SEO)Improving UX across the full customer journey - landing pages, product pages, checkout flowsPartnering closely with marketing, growth, and content to support campaigns and experimentsActing as the go-to web expert internally - ideas, execution, optimisationWhat we''re looking for510 years experience as a Web Developer working on customer-facing websitesStrong hands-on experience with Webflow and Shopify (WordPress experience still useful)Confident working independently and making decisions without heavy directionSolid UX instinctsStrong understanding of SEO from a technical and UX perspectiveComfortable working in a fast-moving, growing businessProactive, self-driven, and happy to roll up your sleevesThe team & environmentYou''ll join a marketing team of five (content, growth, partner marketing, campaigns)They will also have a separate software team focused on the product - you''ll collaborate with them but won''t sit in that teamHybrid role based in Sydney, working 23 days per week from the CBD officeGrowing fast in Australia and New Zealand in the EV charging spaceWhy this role is interestingFirst in-house web hire - real ownership and influenceA website with strong products and happy customers that hasn''t reached its potential yetPlenty of room to shape how web, UX, and SEO support growthStability of a full-time role without enterprise bureaucracyWhat you need to doIf this sounds like a role of interest for you, please apply via the ad.
