Whatever brings you joy can become a moment of connection for someone else.As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you''ll be matched with one elderly person living in their own home. You''ll visit the same client each time, helping build a warm, trusting relationship that grows over time. Visits are weekly or fortnightly, usually for about an hour, creating a gentle, meaningful rhythm of companionship and conversation.If you''d love to brighten someone''s day and enjoy a friendly cuppa and a chat along the way we''d be delighted to hear from you.Your impactVolunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.
