Our Murdoch based clinic is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic part-time Occupational Hand Therapist to join our team. Your role will have a strong focus on hand and upper limb rehabilitation & therapy.The position will include a great mix of inpatient upper limb orthopaedics, outpatient hand and upper limb treatment, work injured patients and all aspects of hand therapy including thermoplastic splinting. Prior hand therapy experience is required.Our clinic has a very friendly and supportive work environment and the successful applicant will work together with our established team of OTs and Physio''s, and you will often be working directly in conjunction with Mr Paul Jarrett, Hand and Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon and his highly motivated clinic team. We hold regular research meetings onsite and are dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment.The role will be 7-8 hours per week on a rotating roster. Both the hours and days will be negotiable, and salary will be tailored to suit the experience of the successful candidate.This clinic has access to the facilities of the Murdoch Clinic including a number of cafs and ancillary services available. You will have full administrative support from Mr Jarrett''s clinic team. Our clinic has a dedicated Hand & Upper Limb therapy consulting room with half-hour appointments.The successful experienced applicant will have an immediate caseload and will be involved in tailoring the service to suit the needs of the clinic and our patients.
