The role will report to the Technician Team Leader and work in a team responsible for the manufacture, testing, tuning, integration and sustainment of EW components and systems using radio frequency (RF) and photonic technology.What the role will involveSome responsibilities of your role will include the following:Completes manufacturing, testing, tuning and integration of electronic CCA''s, modules and systems following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences.Efficient and effective product testing and tuning comprising RF, digital and analogue circuits.Accurate data collection associated with test and tune findings and solutions.Provide feedback to management, engineers and peers regarding testing, processes and tools.Ensure quality standards are maintained through best practice.To comply with all Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures.Supports root cause analysis of failed electronic components and recommends corrective actions.Performs continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the business.You may be rostered to work any of the following shifts in accordance with operational requirements: Morning shift: 7am 3pm Afternoon shift: 3pm 11pm Night Shift: 11pm 7amWhat you''ll bringThe role requires the following experience and skills:Advanced Diploma in Engineering or ElectronicsTechnical trade in electronics or equivalentIPCA610 or equivalent MILSTD certificationManual dexterityPrecise motor skillsAbility to perform work under a microscopeAbility to read technical instructions and drawingsAbility to use computers to locate and view documentsGood oral and written communication skillsAccuracy, thoroughness, persistence and attention to detailAbility to handle small and delicate partsGood time management skillsA few of our employee benefits areAn additional week of leave per annum plus the option to buy or sell up to 2 weeks additional annual leave.Salary continuance insurance (SCI pays 75% of your base salary and bonus for up to 2 years)Flexible working hours and patterns depending on locationDiscounted private health insuranceLife & Total Permanent Disability CoverNovated Car LeasingCompany supported professional development programsCompany paid parkingRetail Reward programsImportant to knowDue to the nature of our work many our roles require an Australian citizenship and will require the successful candidate to successfully apply and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance and/or be assessed to work with ITAR information.
