Role OverviewThe Estimator/Supervisor plays a pivotal role in estimating, overseeing, and coordinating building and construction projects across multiple service streams, including Insurance, QBCC, NDIS, Restoration, and Aged Care.This position is responsible for ensuring projects are accurately estimated, safely delivered, and completed efficiently, while meeting the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. The role also provides leadership, mentoring, and ongoing support to internal staff and trade partners.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit a minimum of 20 claims per week in line with KPI timeframesDevelop detailed, accurate, and timely cost estimates for insurance building and restoration projectsAssess damage reports, site notes, and insurer specifications to create comprehensive scopes of workConduct site inspections to validate scope and confirm project requirementsLiaise with supervisors, project managers, and trade partners to obtain accurate costing informationCommunicate professionally with loss adjusters, insurers, and property ownersProject Delivery & SupervisionManage the end-to-end repair experience for all projects within your portfolioDeliver Government and Private Sector works from initiation through to completionOversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered profitably and on timeMonitor construction activities to ensure quality standards, compliance, and safety requirements are metReview project progress, proactively address issues, and ensure client expectations are achievedPrepare and review SWMS, Site Safety Plans, and conduct site inductions and toolbox talksEnsure compliance with OHS, environmental, and statutory requirementsSkills, Experience & QualificationsTrade qualification in Building or ConstructionWhite Card and current Police CheckMinimum 2 years experience in the insurance or restoration construction industryFull, valid driver''s licenceStrong knowledge of construction estimating, insurance works, and project deliveryHigh level of client care, communication, and negotiation skillsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a teamProficient in Microsoft Office and construction management systems (e.g. Prime)Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbout UsWe are a growing construction and restoration business delivering high-quality outcomes across insurance, government, and private sector projects.
