Hours vary and depend on clinic needs, with a roster MondayFriday and potential weekend work.Your key responsibilities will include:Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attentionKeeping meticulous records for every patient and sampleDelivering documentation within strict turnaround timesPreparing and packaging specimens for transport and testingLiaising with customers, clinic staff and couriersWhat Type of Person Will Be SuccessfulTo be successful, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector, or have a Cert III and be looking to embark on your Pathology Collection career. You could also be a Registered Nurse seeking regular daytime casual shifts.No experience in Pathology Collection but with a customer service focus and healthcare background? We can support you to grow as a Pathology Collector with fully paid training and mentoring. Bring the right attitude and interest and we will provide the rest.These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:Experience or Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare backgroundExcellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathyOrganised, with strong time management and attention to detailAbility to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinicValid Driver''s license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinicsWorking with Children''s Check or willingness to obtain oneAustralian citizenship or permanent residency, or NZ citizen, or valid visa with work rightsAbility to work across a range of hoursWe value leadership at all levels.
