You will receive regular checkins from your manager, ongoing support and recognised reward programmes.What You Will Be DoingAs a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist) you will collect blood and nonblood specimens, coordinate patient samples, and deliver superior customer service.Your key responsibilities will include:Collect samples (blood and nonblood) with care and attentionKeep meticulous records for every patient and sampleDeliver documentation within strict turnaround timesPrepare and package specimens for transport and testingLiaise with customers, clinic staff and couriersWhat Type of Person Will Be SuccessfulWe are looking for:An experienced Pathology CollectorSomeone with a Certificate III in Pathology CollectionOr someone with a healthcare or customer service background who is keen to change career (training will be provided)You will also have:Excellent customer service and communication skills with high empathyStrong organisation, time management and attention to detailAbility to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinicA valid driver''s licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinicsA Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain oneAustralian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa with permission to work in AustraliaVaccination RequirementsHepatitis B vaccine evidence is a requirementOther vaccinations may be required depending on locationBenefits, Perks and WellbeingBenefits platform savings at 500+ Australian brandsFitness Passport subsidised access to fitness centres and poolsCorporate health insurance discounts, salary packaging optionsCareer growth online courses and learning pathsEmployee Assistance Programme for confidential health and wellbeing supportOur Commitment to Diversity and InclusionWe are an equalopportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
