This role primarily supports patients in an ambulatory and outpatient setting, where you will have the opportunity to educate and empower patients, coordinate complex care during clinical appointments, and collaborate with medical, nursing and pharmacy colleagues. With a strong focus on hospital avoidance through specialist outpatient services, you will contribute to ensuring patients receive safe, timely and effective care.Your role will be diverse and rewarding, encompassing a mix of clinical practice and service improvement. You may perform venepuncture, ECGs, wound dressings, intravenous line management, immunisations, and apply your knowledge in blood borne viruses and sexual health. In addition, you will support projects and programs that enhance patient outcomes, while embracing accountability for your practice, professional advice and delegated care.
