You will play a key role in shaping education and training for the sonographer workforce, ensuring quality, consistency, and the integration of innovative technologies and processes.Working collaboratively with colleagues across SAMI, you will oversee education and development activities that support the training of new and returning sonographers, ongoing professional development, and ultrasound scanning training for Radiology Registrars and other medical officers. With a balance of clinical expertise and leadership capability, you are committed to training the next generation of sonographers while maintaining excellence in patient care.In this role, you will need:An ASAR-accredited postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound with broad advanced-level clinical experience.Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, including complex and specialised studies.Advanced clinical skills in Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound examinations, including ultrasound guided MSK procedures.Strong experience in clinical education, training, and staff development, with the ability to foster collaborative, multidisciplinary learning.Well-developed communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, with sound knowledge of quality improvement and safety principles.About usExcel in your career with SA Medical ImagingStatewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
