We will offer flexible learning options to help you achieve your study goals, with additional support from the training provider and our educators. Your working arrangements will be 4 days at work, with one working day every fortnight allocated for study and assessments, while your usual workdays are dedicated to practical on-the-job learning.How you will contributeProvide highquality, respectful care and support to residents across diverse aged care settings.Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalised care that improves wellbeing.Maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships with residents and their families.Where you will workThe Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network covers locations from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda with 11 public hospitals and six aged care facilities. We will work with you on your preferences for location. Study will include online and facetoface components tailored to your needs.What we will offer you in returnQualification: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing and/or Disability through our approved Registered Training Organisation.Four days per week as a Direct Care Worker, learning both on and off the job (rostered over 7 days, 7.6 hours per day).Training scheduled over a 1215 month period, with potential for further opportunities following successful completion.Recruitment processWe will conduct two intakes over the next 12 months: Program 1 commences in May 2026 and Program 2 in November 2026.
