(Pro-rata)Temporary Part-time position working 19 hours per week (up to 12 months)Eligibility Open to all suitably qualified medical practitioners.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity is available for a Medical Education Registrar to join the Medical Education Unit within Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. This role plays a key part in supporting, educating and mentoring prevocational doctors across the region, contributing to a high-quality, supportive learning environment within a rural health setting.Working closely with the Medical Education Unit, you will be actively involved in delivering educational activities, professional development and wellbeing support for interns, RMOs and international medical graduates.What We''re OfferingLocation negotiable across the YNLHN region including working from home opportunitiesRoster negotiable, offering flexibility to suit personal and professional commitmentsOpportunity to combine education with negotiated clinical practiceStrong organisational support and access to professional development in medical educationKey ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Work closely with the Medical Education Unit to deliver structured educational programs for prevocational doctorsProvide teaching, mentoring and exam preparation support, including for international medical graduatesContribute to education activities such as tutorials, simulation training and professional development sessionsSupport trainee wellbeing and promote a psychologically safe learning environmentAbout YouYou are a registered Medical Practitioner with a passion for education and supporting the development of junior doctors.
