OverviewHeathgate is Australia''s leader in responsible and innovative uranium mining, powering a cleaner energy world.Our ISR mining method is focused on innovative, low-impact extraction methods that minimise surface disturbance and protect surrounding ecosystems. We seek an Environment Advisor to join our HSSE team at our Beverley mining operation.ResponsibilitiesMaintain environmental management plans for the ISR operation, including progressive rehabilitation and closure plans.Monitor groundwater and soil conditions to ensure compliance.Conduct environmental risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders.Prepare reports for audits, compliance submissions, and sustainability performance.Support site teams through environmental awareness programs.Advise on environmental compliance, monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives to support sustainable operations.This is an 8:6 FIFO roster, Wednesday to Wednesday, with short flights departing from Adelaide or Port Augusta.About YouBachelor of Environmental Science or related discipline.Ideally with prior experience in the mining or resources sector and strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.Personal attributes: passion for protecting ecosystems and promoting environmental care and sustainability.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to influence others to adopt best environmental practices.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic operational environment.Ready to make a difference?Join us in shaping the future of sustainable mining, where we are leading the way toward cleaner energy.
