OverviewAt HEH Civil, we are seeking a casual Administration Officer. This role is based at our Mareeba workshop office and reports directly to the Service Manager. The primary role is to support the administration of our plant and fleet jobs for our busy workshop.About The RoleIn the role of Administration Assistant, you will manage plant records and maintenance, support accounts payable, payroll and provide general administrative duties. This role offers flexible hours between 7am and 4pm. The position is ongoing and could lead to a permanent part-time role for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Administration DutiesAnswering PhonesCustomer ServiceTake minutes at staff meetingsCoordinate and undertake purchasing of office suppliesFilling and archiving project documentationLiaising with head office and projects suppliers/subcontractorsData EntryMaintain weekly plant reportDevelop and maintain databases ensuring data integrityFinancial DutiesInvoice reconciliation & purchase ordersEntering weekly timesheets for payroll processingWorkshop CoordinationEnsure plant and fleet is serviced and repaired, in registration and prestart are completed on all by due dateUndertake other duties, as requiredTo Be Considered You Musthave proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the building and construction industry.have availability to work minimum 3 days per weekHave a professional telephone manner and communication skillsbe proficient in Microsoft Officebe reliable and punctualbe able to work independently and as part of a teambe enthusiastic to learn new skills/ systemsDemonstrate the ability to manage yourself, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities efficientlyDisplay a high level of accuracy and attention to detailFlexibility and can-do attitude to take on several daily functionsAbout HEH CivilHEH Civil is a privately owned civil construction company delivering the design, construction and rehabilitation of civil infrastructure for private and government clients.
