Job Description

We are recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join our team as Training & Compliance Manager located at Brisbane, QLD.This role coordinates with our SEQ''s Driver Trainers/ Assessors to maintain a high standard of training and assessing, and to ensure all drivers are deemed competent annually. You will be instrumental in effectively organising the onboarding and training of new drivers across a variety of truck types and geographically dispersed SEQ locations.This challenging opportunity is a great fit for you if you reflect our company values of Care, Collaboration and Ownership.In Your New Role, You WillEnsuring all new drivers complete all necessary components of the national driver training program in a timely mannerEffectively assessing an individual''s training needs at the onboarding stage and developing suitable training plans in line with the 10Day Driver Training PlanManaging the training process of all new drivers in the fleet through costeffective utilisation of driver trainer resourcesEncouraging the upskilling training of drivers in the fleet to other vehicle typesManaging overdue elearning trainingEnsuring all training documentation is up to date and relevantContributing to continuous improvement of driver performanceEnsuring the safety of the driver fleet through effective safety/risk trainingChampioning a consistent and fair approach to investigating and acting on any breach of fatigue regulationsMonitoring all aspects of NHVR legislation and ensuring we are compliantEnsuring all Lorry Owner Drivers (LOD''s) and Relief Drivers are CAMS compliantManaging LOD''s Relief Driver and absence requestsParticipating in ensuring Managers complete truck auditsProducing various management information reports as required in a timely mannerActively participating in the rollout of ad hoc training programmes as assigned by the Supply Chain Concrete Manager, GM Logistics or Risk departmentsThis role is a great fit for you, if you have:Proven ability to effectively coordinate a large workforceExcellent verbal communication skills, particularly in presenting information and facilitating training sessionsGood level of computer proficiency in using various software applicationsDemonstrated high level of attention to detail and accuracyWhat We OfferAttractive remuneration package including Company Vehicle, Phone and LaptopPart of a growing global organisationOngoing career and development opportunitiesAt Heidelberg Materials, we understand that your wellbeing and professional growth are essential.
