OverviewHilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Chief Engineer, you will also be required to coordinate renovation projects and develop emergency programs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotelPerform daily checks around the hotelConduct lift emergency release procedures as requiredDiagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotelEnsure good relationships are built with internal and external customersMaintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations ariseDevelop, implement, and direct all emergency programsDevelop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expensesCoordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectivelyPerform special projects and other responsibilities as assignedResponsible for the health and safety of the hotelEnsure monthly safety inspections take place, and employees are trained accordinglyQualificationsAn Assistant Chief Engineer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
