As a Waste Driver Side Loader Collections/Labourer, you''ll operate collection vehicles, support waste operations, and help keep the city clean, sustainable and welcoming.Role accountabilitiesEnsure mobile garbage and recycling bins are emptied correctly and returned to designated areas, including cleaning up any spillage.Operate and maintain side and rear-loading compaction vehicles and other relevant plant and equipment in accordance with manuals and WHS procedures.Work collaboratively with team members to support efficient Waste Operations.Provide high-quality customer service to residents and the broader community.Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and the public.Perform all duties safely, efficiently and in line with environmentally sustainable practices.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team cohesion.You are someone who takes pride in helping keep the city clean and functioning well. You enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing to a team that delivers essential community services.
