You will ensure compliance with internal and external specified and expected requirements - maximising the utilisation of internal resources at the minimum cost to the company. Further requirements will see you providing technical support and advice to the respective business and customers and being an integral part of the production and the sales processes - monitoring concrete mix performance and quality of raw materials and liaising with laboratories to ensure correct mixes are tested and in sufficient numbers.You will ensure adherence to and active improvement of documented quality systems and technical standards and maintain ongoing and vigilant monitoring of concrete strength, density and water demand trends and prompt reporting to Technical Managers.Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include:Regular contact with external customers to address their needs and concerns as required.Ongoing consultation with Internal stakeholders to help meet the needs of the business.Constant monitoring of mix performance and resource utilisation at the concrete plants and quarry operations in the regionProviding timely and accurate technical advice to Account Managers, Production Managers & Customers on product compliance, procedures & concrete practicesEnsuring tender & contract technical reviews are in accordance with QMS procedures and levels of authority.Working with laboratories to ensure QC testing meets ITPs, AS1379 and budget targets.Ongoing review of aggregate and raw material performance including cement to track and adjust for any potential performance changes.Responsibility for concrete and quarry trial work to meet contractual needs of the business.About you:To succeed in this key position an advantage will be a tertiary qualification or diploma i.e., in Materials Engineering, Science or related disciplines. It is desirable, but not essential that you have previous experience in quarry or concrete technical as full training will be provided to right candidate.
