With strong industry connections and purposebuilt facilities, the department plays a critical role in meeting industry demand, supporting apprentices and delivering highquality outcomes for learners and employers.As Education Manager, you will provide educational, operational and people leadership for the department. This senior role is responsible for setting direction, leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and strengthening industry partnerships to deliver sustainable, highquality programmes.This role suits an experienced leader who is confident managing people, performance, compliance and change and who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.As an Education Manager, you will:Provide visible leadership across the department, setting direction, performance expectations and a strong culture.Lead educational planning, operations and programme development, ensuring alignment with Institute priorities, industry demand and compliance requirements.Recruit, develop and lead teaching and nonteaching staff, embedding accountability, capability and continuous improvement.Build strong industry partnerships and use data insights to improve outcomes, manage risk and support informed decisionmaking.To be successful, you''ll have:Proven leadership experience in vocational education or a comparable regulated environment, with accountability for people, performance and outcomes.Ability to lead and develop teams, manage performance and drive change, while delivering compliant, highquality programmes.Strong VET sector knowledge, including ASQA compliance, funding requirements, apprenticeship delivery, and datainformed continuous improvement.Qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Servicing, with an approved course of adult teacher training accredited at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 6 adult vocational qualification.WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ''employee'' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 5 years.Our commitment to you:At Holmesglen Institute, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and flexible workplace where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
