About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Excavator Operator / Multi-Skilled Plant Operator for immediate start to join our team at Mechanical Vegetation Solutions in Edwardstown, South Australia. This full-time position is crucial in supporting our company''s operations and offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the success of our growing business. We may provide a Company Service ute to work away Monday to Friday in various locations such as Yorke Peninsula, the Midnorth or in the Mallee in South Australia. The working locations will be dependent on client contracts. What you''ll be doing Operate excavators and other heavy equipment proficiently and safely to carry out a variety of construction and vegetation management tasks Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards Work collaboratively with the wider team to efficiently complete projects and meet deadlines Adapt to changing job requirements and assist with other plant and equipment operations as needed Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations What we''re looking for South Australian based applicants need only apply Minimum 3 years'' experience as an Excavator Operator or Multi-Skilled Plant Operator in the construction or related industry Proficiency in operating a range of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes and other machinery Excellent mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs Strong safety focus and the ability to work in a team environment Flexible and available to work away with crews Monday to Friday (if required) Relevant industry qualifications and licenses, such as an Excavator License and High-Risk Work License Reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail to work instructions What we offer Competitive salary and superannuation Opportunities for ongoing training and career development Flexible work arrangements and a focus on work-life balance A collaborative, team-oriented culture Company Service Ute About us Mechanical Vegetation Solutions is a leading provider of specialized vegetation management and arboricultural services in South Australia.
