Your role Joining our team as an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to maximise their function and independence in their daily activities. Our Occupational Therapy Service is frequently involved in the care of patients, referred by specialist doctors, in the neurology, surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, palliative care and medical units of the hospital. With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, youll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care. Responsibilities Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration Strong, evidence-based clinical practice and problem-solving skills Commitment to teamwork and high-level communication skills Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment What makes a difference for you?
