Located in a vibrant city known for its rich history, stunning waterfront, and thriving arts scene, Nyaal Banyul is a place where everyone is invited to share stories, connect, and celebrate special moments.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Uniform Operations Coordinator to oversee the uniform room operations at Nyaal Banyul, ensuring provision of employee uniforms in an efficient, timely and helpful manner. The role drives service excellence and ensures seamless and high-quality outcomes that reflect the venues standards and reputation. In addition, the Uniform Operations Coordinator provides leadership and support to the casual workforce when required during peak periods.ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operation of the Nyaal Banyul Uniform Rooms automated garment system, ensuring a very high level of service is delivered.Recruit and develop a pool of Casuals suited to a service-focused environment.Ensure the smooth running of the uniform room through effective employee planning, allocation and supervision.Maintain the automated garment system operations by loading laundered garments and programming the system to deliver accurate uniform style and size for employees.Liaise with dry cleaning and laundry providers to ensure an efficient and effective service is received.Coordinate the repair of damaged garments and reorder additional stock when required.Liaise with other departments to understand upcoming events and ensure that the uniform room is appropriately staffed to handle the demands of events being held in the venue.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Uniform room and automated garment system.QualificationsProven expertise in the provision of wardrobe / uniform / linen services.People leadership experience, with a track record in fostering high-performing teams, training, coaching, and performance management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.Be able to work independently and as part of the operations team.Required SkillsProven expertise in the provision of wardrobe / uniform / linen services.People leadership experience, with a track record in fostering high-performing teams, training, coaching, and performance management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.Be able to work independently and as part of the operations team.Preferred SkillsPrevious experience within the Convention, Events or Food and Beverage industries.Experience with Momentus/EBMS or other Event / Hotel Management based software.A growth mindset that is open to trying new things, bounces back quickly after setbacks and applies learnings from their mistakes.Pay range and compensation packageJoining our team means flexibility, growth, and support.
