The role supports the Principal Advisor, Taxation and Superannuation in providing technical advice and strategic direction across NSW Health, including Local Health Districts, NSW Ambulance and many other organisations. This role is a great opportunity to work on complex and large-scale tax challenges that directly impact the health system and its staff of over 120,000 FTE (full-time equivalent).You will be supported within a busy and dynamic broader branch, being the Financial and Corporate Services branch of the Ministry of Health. We also offer flexible working arrangements and support for professional development. The position is in St Leonards, close to public transport, cafes, and local amenities. Remuneration is consistent with the Crown Employee Awards, Grade 9/10, with a starting salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus superannuation and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week. Flexible work arrangements are available.For more information, please read the full Role Description.What Youll Be DoingReporting to the Principal Advisor, Taxation and Superannuation you will be supported in a collaborative work environment to deliver, implement and improve a range of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with tax legislation and other government policies. This role extends beyond developing and updating tax policies and procedures and providing specialised tax advice.
