These products are engineered to meet the evolving needs of the global drilling industry, offering performance, reliability, and safety in demanding conditions.The primary purpose of the Customer Service Representative is to support the sale of globally manufactured items to the APAC customer base, ensuring customer requirements are understood and delivery commitments are met. Responsibilities Proactively manage orders including quoting, bookings, back orders, data entry and managing leads Provide customer service by answering queries, processing sales in a timely fashion, and responding accurately Execute telephone sales Manage and process claims assessments and Return of Material Authorization (RMA) Support Managers with sales and administrative activities Drive transactional sales Implement direct marketing activities as instructed by Business Development Managers Oversee delivery and troubleshooting of products Build ongoing relationships with existing customers Undertake administrative tasks Assist with inventory functions, stock control and inventory management Qualifications Our preferred candidate will have 2 years of experience within a similar role Focus on customer service excellence with internal and external clients Excellent written & verbal communication skills Excellent listening and questioning skills Ability to prioritise objectives and responsibilities Strong Microsoft Office skills Previous experience in using Oracle (desirable, not essential) Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role in a relevant industry (e.g. drilling, mining, construction) Sound planning and organisational skills A team-focused attitude Excellent analytical skills, technically savvy In return, you will receive Competitive annual salary Opportunity to work within a global organisation and high-performing team Career development opportunities Flexible working policy On-site car parking and modern office facilities Our People At Boart Longyear, people are our most important asset.
