As a Maintenance / Handyperson at our Somerton Park Village, youll play a hands-on role in keeping the village welcoming, safe and enjoyable for residents, making a visible difference every day. The role Based at Somerton Park Village, this full-time role supports the day-to-day presentation and upkeep of the villages grounds and communal areas. Youll work across outdoor maintenance, cleaning and light handyman tasks, supporting the Village Manager and wider team to ensure the village looks and functions at its best. What Youll Be Doing Maintain village grounds, gardens and pathways, including pruning, hedging and weeding Keep communal outdoor areas clean, tidy and well-presented Operate gardening and cleaning equipment, including pressure cleaners Complete scheduled grounds maintenance and general cleaning tasks Assist with minor maintenance jobs such as light replacements and basic fixes Support the Village Manager with ad-hoc maintenance and cleaning duties What Youll Bring Experience in gardening, grounds or maintenance work Physically capable of hands-on outdoor work and operating equipment Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively A friendly, respectful communication style when engaging with residents A current drivers licence and willingness to complete a Police Check Why join Levande?
