What You Will Be Doing As a casual Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, using empathy and strong customer service to deliver quality healthcare. Hours vary and depend on clinic needs, across a MondayFriday roster with the opportunity to work weekends. Your key responsibilities will include: Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers What Type of Person Will Be Successful To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector, or you will have gained a Certificate III in Pathology Collection and be looking to embark on your Pathology Collection career. You could also be a Registered Nurse seeking daytime casual shifts instead of weekend and overnight work. No experience in Pathology Collection but with a customer service focus and healthcare background? We can support you to grow a rewarding career by providing fully paid training and mentoring.
