As a Plant Operator (Bobcat) within the Traffic and Transport team, youll play a hands-on role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality road and maintenance works. What Youll Be Doing Operating and maintaining Council plant and equipment, with a strong focus on skid steer (Bobcat) and MR truck operation. Carrying out a range of labouring and road maintenance tasks including: Traffic management, Pipe laying, Concreting and paving, Tar patching, hot mix and sealing works, Kerb and gutter, culvert, pit and headwall construction and maintenance, Stormwater and bridge maintenance, Installation and upkeep of signposts and guard rails, Fencing, roadside maintenance and general site works. Maintaining a strong commitment to safe work practices and correct use of PPE. What Youll Bring Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining a skid steer and MR truck. White Card. MR Drivers Licence. SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans qualifications. A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to work outdoors in a hands-on environment.
