OverviewMarketing and CommunicationFull-time fixed-term position for up to 6 monthsBase salary will be in the range $104,616 - $113,920 + 17% superBased at our St Lucia CampusAbout This OpportunityThe University of Queensland is seeking a UX Designer to support business-as-usual UX design activities within the Marketing and Communication team.This role is a fixed-term backfill, supporting continuity of UX delivery while the current designer is seconded to an internal project. The role supports core UX activities across UQs digital platforms, ensuring user-centred design remains embedded in day-to-day delivery.Working closely with digital specialists and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to improving usability, accessibility, and consistency across UQs websites and digital experiences.Key responsibilitiesDesign user journeys, flows, wireframes, and prototypes for digital initiativesSupport or conduct user research and usability testingCollaborate with UI designers, content designers, and developersTranslate business needs into clear, user-focused design solutionsApply UX best practice across business-as-usual digital workAbout UQAs part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
