Headquartered in West Perth, we are in an exciting phase of growth and development, backed by a strong pipeline of exploration and production opportunities.Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of health and safety across Horizon Minerals operations, projects and corporate activities. This senior leadership role is critical to embedding a strong safety culture and ensuring the Company meets its statutory, governance and risk obligations. This role will play a key part in supporting the Black Swan Processing Plant refurbishment and restart, as well as ongoing mining and exploration activities.Join an emerging ASX-listed gold company with high-quality assets at an exciting stage of growth and transformation.Play an essential role in shaping safety culture, governance and risk management.Strategic and operational remit with the ability to influence at site and senior levels.Work with an experienced, friendly and supportive team.Permanent, full-time role with an attractive remuneration package and benefits including short-term and long-term incentives linked to performance and impact.About YouYou are a proven health and safety leader with strong operational credibility in the mining industry. You bring a pragmatic, solutions-focussed approach and are able to work at the strategic and hands-on operational levels.To be successful in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.Senior-level experience in health and safety leadership within the mining industry.Strong knowledge of Western Australian mining legislation and regulatory frameworks.Experience supporting multi-site operations, capital projects, processing facilities or mine restarts.Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.Current WA Drivers Licence and ability to meet site medical and clearance requirements.Statutory Supervisor (Regulation 26), WA Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations advantageous.Location, Travel and FlexibilityThis position will be initially based at our head office in West Perth or Kalgoorlie, with regular site travel and will transition to the Goldfields on a residential or FIFO roster.Work RightsApplicants must have full rights to live and work in Australia to be considered for this position.
