We are committed to producing accessible food, supporting communities, and delivering strong economic results, all while prioritising sustainability to ensure a prosperous, healthy planet for future generations.The roleMULTIPLE CASUAL SEASONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLEAs a Seasonal Processing Worker, you will be a vital part of our harvest season operations in our Proserpine processing facility.You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure our high-quality prawns are processed, packaged, and prepared for distribution. We are looking for self-motivated team players who are ready to learn and contribute across multiple areas of our processing factory.Season: Early February 2026 to Mid-May 2026Although previous experience working in a processing environment is preferred, we provide on-the-job training. We would love to hear from you if you are reliable, have a great attitude, and ready to embark on a new role with the largest producer of prawns in Australia!ResponsibilitiesProcessing: Assisting with the efficient processing, grading, and packaging of our premium Australian black tiger prawns.Despatch/Warehousing: Supporting our logistics team with day-to-day warehouse activities, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.Note: A Forklift Ticket is required for warehouse-specific duties.Role requirementsFull availability for the seasonal period, with a commitment to the Mission Beach role until Christmas.Interest and availability to transfer to Proserpine from February to mid-May is highly regarded.The ability to speak and understand English to a good standard is essential for clear communication with team leaders and colleagues regarding safety procedures, task instructions, and general teamwork.The ability to work Monday to Friday, with potential for Saturday work.Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment.Full working rights in Australia and a reliable way of getting to and from work.A proactive, team-player attitude and a strong work ethic.The physical capability to meet the demands of a cold food-processing environment and warehousing environment.A willingness to undergo a pre-employment physical functional assessment and alcohol and drug test.A Forklift Ticket with practical experience is highly regarded.Role offeringsHourly rate starting from $30.83 per hour (including 25% casual loading).Work with a supportive, passionate, and collaborative team.Huge potential for career development and progression.Opportunities for skill development.Workplace health and wellbeing support for you and your family.Company cultureOur people each contribute in different ways, embracing our business values and harnessing our can do safely culture with purpose and intent.
