The overall aim is for entry level clinicians to be supported in delivering high quality trauma informed, consumer-centred and holistic care to people living with serious mental illness.The program will include:Intensive orientation programRegular clinical supervisionPeer support programStructured education, training, & professional development opportunitiesTargeted career planning & progression consultationsProtected caseloadsYou will be offered the opportunity to rotate through various departments within the organisation including:Mental Health Inpatient Unit WanyarraInfant, Child and Youth Wellness Mental Health Service (ICYWMHS)Headspace CentresThe successful applicant will have:Commitment to the GV Health Values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour.Recently graduated or new to the mental health field (early career)An approved tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered wiht AHPRAHave a commitment to professional development, service development and evaluationHave a commitment to acute/community mental health for people with serious mental health issuesMange time and prioritise competing demands to ensure clinically appropriate care is delivered in a timely manner, and non-clinical timeframes and responsibilities are metThe successful candidate will have:Tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing or AASW compliant Social Work qualificationsExperience in working with people experiencing mental illness and psychological distress, preferably children, youth and familiesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the care provided.Position Description: HEREIf qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
