We''re here to Stride.About the service:The Parramatta Medicare Mental Health service is a brand new service for adults in Western Sydney seeking emotional wellbeing and mental health support. The service provides a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support and a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress. Allowing low risk individuals to identify alternatives to presenting to the Emergency Department and gaining access support from trained mental health professional within their community, outside a clinical setting.On Offer:Based in Parramatta, NSWPermanent, full-time opportunity availablePaying on HPSS Level 3 plus SuperSalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentExcellent training and career developmentRole overview:The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality evidence based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for adultsThe focus of this role is on the day to day delivery of excellence in quality care provision, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met.Requirements:Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist (registrar welcome) , Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (ideally)Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment inc. risk assessment and management, crisis intervention, treatment planning and brief interventions, and psycho-educationDemonstrated working knowledge of, and experience in, the provision of mental health services to adults, and their familiesHighly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to engage with individuals, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, participants, carers and stakeholdersGood computer skills and familiarity of Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn how to use a new clinical software package.Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent Driver''s LicenseApply NowTo apply complete the online application form, attach a copy of your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the available role.Closing date for applications:Applications will be viewed and actioned upon receipt, with a finalclosing datefor applications of 20 February 2026.Any queries please email
