We are seeking Skilled Meat Workers (Boners, Slicers and Slaughterpersons) to join the team at our Inverell Processing Facility.Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.Job Type: Permanent Full-Time PositionPay: $70,000 - $85,000 per yearWork Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person Inverell, New South Wales, AustraliaWhat we have on offer:Attractive Salary based on relevant skills and experience Ongoing training, development and career opportunities within a collaborative and supportive team environmentAdditional Benefits:Employee discountsReferral programRelocation assistanceSalary packaging benefits programThe Role:In this role, you will perform skilled meat processing tasks while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:Performing skilled boning, slicing, or slaughtering tasks to meet production requirements.Handling knives and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure precision and quality.Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies.Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with industry standards.Working as part of a team to meet production targets and operational deadlines.Shift times are as follows:Slaughter Floor Day shift approximately - 6:00am - 4:00pm.Boning Room Day shift approximately - 5:00am - 2:00pm.Boning Room Afternoon Shift approximately - 2:30pm - 12:00am.About You:Proven experience in a meat processing facility as a Boner, Slicer, or SlaughterpersonsProficient knife handling skills, including safe and efficient use of cutting toolsUnderstanding of production processes and requirements to ensure quality and efficiencyCommitment to workplace health and safety regulations and food hygiene practicesAdherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standardsReliable work history, demonstrating a strong work ethic and consistencyAbility to pass a physio and medical assessment to meet physical job demandsWillingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as part of the hiring processClosing date for applications is 09 March 2026.Applications will be assessed on an ongoing basis and therefore we encourage you to apply at your earliest opportunity.
