About the Role The Head of Geography provides strategic and instructional leadership to ensure excellence in teaching, learning and assessment across the Geography Department. Key Responsibilities Include: Leading curriculum design, assessment and pedagogy across Geography, Tourism and ESS Inspiring and mentoring staff through professional leadership and collaboration Coordinating departmental operations, including curriculum documentation and resources Promoting student engagement through fieldwork, competitions and co-curricular learning Monitoring student progress and supporting learners at risk in partnership with colleagues Building strong professional networks within the School and the wider Geography community About You You are a passionate and highly organised educator who brings both academic credibility and relational leadership to your work.
