We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual Apprentice Service Technician in QLD who is passionate about a career in the HVAC trade industry. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn a specialised trade with one of the industry''s leading brands. You will work alongside experienced Daikin Technicians during your apprenticeship and be exposed to the daytoday operations of the HVAC trade having a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable onthejob training and experience to develop in this growing industry. As an apprentice, you will: - Learn to install, repair and service Daikin HVAC systems. - Assist Service Technicians with daily maintenance work. - Attend TAFE to successfully complete Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. - A general apprenticeship will take 4 years to complete. A career opportunity to join Daikin as a permanent Service Technician may be offered at the end of your apprenticeship. About you To be successful in your application for this role, we will be considering the following: - Completion of Year 12 with a proven competency in general mathematics. - A proactive, positive and committed to finish the apprenticeship attitude. - Current Valid Driver''s License. - Reliable Transport. - A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. - Desire and passion to join the HVAC industry. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete the following prior to an offer of employment: - Preemployment Medical Assessment. - Obtaining a National Police Clearance.
