We focus on selling these goods into both Australian and international export markets Position description We are seeking a dedicated Oil Press Leading Hand (Production Operator) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Operate the oil production facility that presses an oil seed into crude oil and ensuring the facilitys production, safety, and quality are upheld Schedule and manage oil press production Maintain stock levels of incoming raw seed and outgoing crude oil and meal Review and maintain production/batch records and Retention Samples Ensure maintenance procedures of all plant and equipment are regularly carried out including cleaning processes as per working instructions Ensure all outgoing orders are correctly documented on the weigh bridge system to ensure accurate inventory Operate and oversee plant operations and operators, assist in fault diagnosis and resolution processes Conduct product testing in line with Quality Assurance Program on site to prepare products for dispatch Assist Management in the scheduling of employee shifts and keep track of employee time Evaluate operating procedures and ensure efficiency and production in plants Supervise and assist in the training of new employees and provide development opportunities Ensure all employees are trained and compliant on safety and Feed Safe Milling Compliance Requirements Maintain operation of production equipment and other equipment needed to perform duties such as loaders, processing plant, weighing scales, calibration Benefits At Squib Group, we will provide complete in house ISCC training to help you understand the importance of sustainable versus non-sustainable products. About you To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have: Have at least a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent; or 1 year of relevant work experience to substitute the qualification Salary The salary range for the position is $69,000 per annum plus superannuation.
