Join us for a dynamic career where you can make a real impact.You can learn more about us here: About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong Kotlin and Jetpack compose experience preferably from a financial domain or fintech background.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and contribute to the design of mobile banking platformDesign, develop, review, implement, and manage application code and services for the production and pre-release environmentsParticipate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build mobile apps.Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent.Monitors for and anticipates platform trends and upcoming critical changes.Monitors client feedback for problems and proactively schedules resolutions where needed.Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and toolingProvide robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debugging.Provide technical guidance and leadership to other development staff.Essential RequirementsA strong interest and passion for mobile developmentAndroid development experience, Kotlin and Java (6+ years)Experience with architectural patterns - Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVP, SMVP, MVCExtensive experience with open source libraries like RxJava, Dagger 2, Coroutines, and Android Jetpack (LiveData, Data Binding).Proven experience calling RESTful JSON services and integrating mobile apps with backend APIs.Solid understanding of unit testing, UI testing (Espresso), and automated testing frameworks.Strong understanding of the banking and finance industry, trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment)Proven experience as a senior developer working within Agile teams.
