If this sounds like you, then we have your next opportunity.--Our Wakerley Distribution Centre are looking for a reliable, hands on Warehouse Labourer to work as a Glass Recovery Specialist within our DCKey PointsHours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pmPay: $31.74ph + SuperKey duties include:Operate specialised equipment and tools to remove light to heavy scratches from glass products.Ensure a flawless finish by polishing and restoring the glass to like-new condition.Loading and unloading windscreens where requiredMaintain safe work practices in the warehouseMinimise broken glass through good handling process and stock managementMaintain clean and safe work environment inside and outside warehouseTo support this, we offer:Friendly and supportive teamOngoing incentive and recognition programsOngoing learning and development opportunitiesCommunity service/volunteering leave and giving back opportunitiesEmployee discounts with O''Brien services and our corporate partnersWhat we are looking for:Training will be provided but proven experience as a glass scratch remover or in a similar skilled trades role is a benefit.Strong technical skills in the use of specialised glass scratch removal equipment and tools, (polishing and grinding machine alike).Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve a flawless finish.Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.High level communication skills (written and verbal)Must be fit and healthy and able to lift / pick glass productsMust have Full Australian Work-rights and be able to undertake a full Pre-Employment Medical.--If you meet the above criteria and you''re seeking a rewarding career with a nationally recognised household brand, then we would love to hear from you.
