We contribute to the Australian economy by being a key part of the supply chain between Tasmania and the Australian mainland, connecting local Australian customers to markets across the world.Description About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading administration teams across multiple Tasmanian sites in Brighton, Launceston, Burnie and Devonport. You will bring consistency, structure and accountability to administrative functions, ensuring they effectively support frontline logistics operations.Working closely with Operations and Finance, you will improve processes, lift capability and ensure administration enables rather than slows the business.The role can be based at any Strait Link Tasmanian site.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and manage administration teams across multiple Tasmanian locationsDrive consistent administrative processes in a complex, multi-site environmentPartner with Operations leaders to align administrative activity with site prioritiesWork closely with Finance to support accurate, timely and compliant reportingIdentify process gaps, inefficiencies and risks, and implement practical improvementsBuild capability, accountability and confidence within administration teamsAct as the central coordination point for key administrative deliverables across TasmaniaSkills And Experiences About YouYou are an experienced administration or business support leader who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, operational environments.You will bring:Proven experience leading administration or business support teams (typically 5+ years)Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with Operations and FinanceA practical, solutions-focused approach to process improvementThe ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sitesStrong organisational, communication and decision-making skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills and solid financial administration experienceExperience in logistics, transport or industrial environments is advantageous, but not essential.Why Join Strait LinkLead a critical support function across Tasmania''s logistics networkGenuine scope to improve processes and ways of workingStrong leadership support and a clear mandate to lift standardsStable, long-term role in an essential services businessInclusive and supportive workplace cultureAn inclusive workplace, works for everyoneWe celebrate difference.
