Our ambitionThe OpportunityWe are seeking a Solicitor to join our leading Band 1 Banking & Finance team, to be based in Melbourne.In this role you will be working closely with Lucy McCullagh and Martin MacDonald as well as other leading finance Partners across our national practice, in this exciting time of growth and opportunity.What you''ll doObtain premium exposure to cutting-edge and complex transactions across a broad range of areas including social infrastructure finance, property finance, acquisition finance and corporate finance, as well as impact financing and private credit.Advise domestic and international clients including lenders and borrowers, corporates, government, private credit funds and impact funds.Benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious, supportive, personable and talented professionals.Play a key role in transactions including drafting and reviewing finance documentation, conducting due diligence, closing transactions and attending to post-completion matters.Develop trusted relationships with clients and participate in business development initiatives, including client pitches, publications, and industry events.What you''ll bring2-4 years'' as a lawyer with experience in banking and finance matter from a top tier, national or international private practice environment.An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.What you can expect from us We''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
