This includes workforce planning, team development, onboarding and mentoring new staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and care standards. Your role will also involve: - Providing day-to-day leadership and acting as a positive role model - Supporting recruitment, retention, and training of team members - Coordinating and monitoring staff rosters and leave to maintain service delivery - Facilitating team meetings, staff development and onthejob mentoring - Ensuring practices align with UPAs policies, guidelines, and Code of Conduct - Promoting a safe working environment through safety audits and risk assessments What You Bring - Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent qualification - Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) - Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising staff - Excellent interpersonal, communication and teambuilding skills - Understanding of current Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards - Strong planning, organisational and problemsolving abilities - Current unrestricted Driver Licence Preemployment Screening The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to complete the following: - National Criminal History Check - Preemployment checks - Vaccination in accordance with UPAs Immunisation and Vaccination Policy Appointment is subject to satisfactory preemployment screening and confirmation of work rights.
