Permanent parttime role (approx. 30 hours a week) Based at Scots Early Learning Hobart Hourly rate, super salary packaging benefits Your new role Were looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Scots Early. This role youll plan and prepare healthy balanced meals and snacks for children each day. Youll consider allergies, special dietary needs and cultural requirements to make sure every child enjoys nutritious food that supports their growth and wellbeing. As part of the Uniting Early Learning team youll work closely with educators to support learning through food experiences and ensure the kitchen operates to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and care. Responsibilities Plan menus that meet nutrition guidelines and childrens needs Prepare and serve morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea Cater for allergies, intolerances and cultural food requirements Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming kitchen environment Manage stock, food orders and records in line with food safety standards What''s on offer Permanent parttime hours (approx. 30 per week) Hourly rate based on CSA Support Worker Level super Access to salary packaging which can increase your takehome pay Be part of a welcoming valuesdriven team that supports children and families every day About you Youre organised, reliable and passionate about providing nutritious food that helps children thrive. You work well as part of a team and understand the importance of food safety, hygiene and inclusive meal planning. Youll need : A Food Handling Certificate (required) A current Working with Children Check (TAS) and National Police Check Experience cooking for groups ideally in an early learning or care setting (Desirable) Level 2 Food Safety Supervisor Certificate How to apply Click APPLY to submit your interest and well be in touch shortly.
