Full Time 1 FTE (38 hours per week) Ongoing permanent role $82,410 - $88,463 per annum + Super (salary increases pending) Based at either Traralgon or Yallourn (preferred) Campus Job Reference No. 2598 About the role The Project Support Officer is a key part of the Campus Planning & Delivery team, providing the coordination and behind-the-scenes support that keeps projects, procurement, property, grants and sustainability initiatives running smoothly across TAFE Gippsland. Working closely with the Manager Campus Planning & Delivery, Project Management specialist and Procurement specialist, you will be the person who keeps information flowing, documentation organised, meetings coordinated, and reporting on track. From maintaining contract and supplier records to preparing reports, supporting meetings, updating SharePoint and assisting with day-to-day requests from across the Institute, your work will touch many areas and make a real difference to how effectively the team operates. This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. It suits someone who enjoys being at the centre of activity, supporting multiple stakeholders, and taking pride in making sure the detail is right so projects and processes can move forward with confidence. About you You are someone who genuinely enjoys being organised, keeping things on track, and helping others do their work more effectively. With solid experience in administration or project support, you are comfortable working with contracts, documentation, reporting, and systems, and you have a natural ability to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail. You communicate clearly and professionally, build positive relationships with ease, and take pride in providing a high level of support and customer service to those around you. Youre proactive, practical, and solutions-focused, and youre just as confident working independently as you are as part of a team. Strong skills in MS Office, SharePoint, and data or reporting systems allow you to present information clearly and accurately, and you have the written communication skills to produce reports, correspondence, and presentations to a high standard. Most importantly, you bring a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in contributing to meaningful work that supports the broader TAFE Gippsland community.
