Health Infrastructure is recruiting a Senior Officer, Communications and Engagement to join the capital project team working across Sydney based hospital projects. The Senior Officer Communications and Engagement is an interesting and diverse role which will assist the Communications and Engagement Lead to plan, implement and evaluate effective communication and engagement strategies, activities and messages for project stakeholders and the community to enhance project and agency outcomes. The role will interact with a broad range of stakeholders to develop productive and collaborative relationships including, but not limited to the project partners, local health staff and consumers, local residents and businesses, community representatives, local government officers and state government agencies. This is a full-time fixed term role for a period of approximately 12 months. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate. Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed. This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months. About You You are a communications and engagement professional with experience supporting complex projects or programs. Youre skilled at translating technical or detailed information into clear, accessible messages across a range of channels. As a confident and collaborative team player, you look for innovative opportunities to engage communities and stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication and engagement expertise including community engagement, high-level stakeholder management and issues management. Working in a fast-paced environment, you show a high degree of initiative, are highly organised, and outcomes-focused. Experience using Have your Say platform, GreenArrow and website content management systems will be beneficial. IAP2 qualifications is also highly regarded.
