Overview Employment Type: Temporary Full Time Position Classification: Registered Nurse (RN2-8) Requisition ID: REQ634295 Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN2-8), Primary Care TFT up to 28 February 2027 - South Coast Correctional Centre Remuneration: $78,346.12 - $104,336.27 per annum + superannuation This is a Targeted Aboriginal Position. Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. The Role Were currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience. The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management. Location The South Coast Correctional Centre (SCCC) is a 1050-bed facility that houses male offenders in minimum, medium, and maximum-security areas, usually those sentenced locally and/or with family and community ties. The SCCC is in South Nowra, approximately 168 km south of Sydney and 5 km from the Nowra CBD. The SCCC provides accommodation for inmates as well as services and programs for recreation, education, and employment.
